Mandarin Oranges

Brown Sugar

Instructions
Peel the oranges.
Take the peel of 2 oranges and remove the white pith using a peeler or a knife.
Soak in hot water for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, starin and discard the water.
Add the soaked peel alongwith the flesh of 6 oranges to a blender jar.
Grind to a fine paste.
Add this orange paste/puree to a heavy bottom pan and cook till it starts to thicken. This will take about 10 minutes. Continue to stir.
Add sugar and continue to cook for 5 more minutes.
Keep stirring and cooking. Or, keep the flame low and leave it for about 10 minutes.
Add salt and citric acid.
Add corn flour to water and make a slurry.
Mix it with the orange and continue to cook till everything starts to come together.
Fill in a glass jar.
Enjoy as a spread
You can spoon or pipe it as a topping for your yogurt or oats.
You can also mix with soda or water to have an instant drink.
